Our client tasked the Brahma London team to conceptualise a highly contemporary villa on the outskirts of the Albanian coastal town of Durres.

With a 3-storey high open-atrium and multiple roof terraces, the building was designed with well placed pergolas and timber lattices to provide solar-shading and privacy screens. A prominent chimney clad in locally-sourced stone provides for fireplaces at each level including the upper-most sun deck.

The uppermost floor is left open to the vaulted roof, featuring an open-plan multipurpose office, TV area, gym and lounge.
