Our clients had obtained planning permission to undertake a major reconstruction of this aged Grange Park house for almost everything behind the front facade.

However, the planning design left the proposed new spaces inadequate, unresolved and without detailed thought for how the family would most enjoy the property.

Brahma London was tasked with almost completely reconfiguring the internal spaces and layout to maximise the project’s potential and from there the client's tasked us with designing in detail both the rear garden and front driveway/garden as well as almost every element of the Interiors.

Lighting played a crucial role in bringing this property to life as we settled on dark feature joinery for the staircase and cabinetry throughout. The entrance hall features a Flos chandelier behind the original oriel window with views from the roof down to the front door thanks to the set-back mezzanine staircase. That space is doubled in width by floor-to-ceiling smoked mirror cladding.

The incredible guest WC features a tear-drop ceiling tap and steel basin set in a dark room with Asian-inspired mosaics and tiling.

The formal lounge and snooker room are divided by independent centre-hinged panel dividers, clad in a soft fabric for the lounge and dark leather for the snooker table.
